The fireplaces are clad in sandstone from NEXØ’s own quarry on the island of Bornholm, giving them their beautiful and distinctive look. The stones are carefully shaped and then shipped to the island of Mors in the northern part of Denmark.
Here skilled and experienced craftsmen hand sort and cement the coloured sandstones onto the fireplaces.
After carefully creating each piece – stone for stone – the end result is a unique, beautiful, hand crafted NEXØ fireplace for maximum enjoyment.
